Would you like a Plate of Meds with that Flu?
If you go anywhere in the city all you can see is the and hear is about people getting sick. I was not oblivious to it but was not thinking that this would be the week. As Thursday was coming to an end baby K was whining and fussy and My head was spinning in every way possible. I had to check her temperature and the magic number of 102F popped up and I knew we had been tagged. I went to bed feeling like a confused puppy not knowing what to feel next and somehow managed to sneak in a couple of hours of sleep before the rush of this madness would start.

I wondered how I
could test positive abut not baby K. She was the one that seemed to be feeling worse than me. So off to the pharmacy I go a to stock up on everything I could get my hands on. For the next three days Baby K seemed to be getting worse and I didn't seem to be feeling better either. Sunday Morning... Off to the ER. Another round of test and doctors. 7am is pretty early when you are sleep deprived and sick. Especially when Baby K is worse off than you have ever seem her and not KK ( my 9 year old) is starting to complain. 2 hrs later we get a diagnosis of double ear infection and flu. After 3 days of suffering this doctor had the right idea.

To all you my friends....
Wash your hands, stay away from anyone that may be sick,
and get a good dose of antibiotics the first go around.
I pray this week will be better.
